Earth Day - April 22nd

Happy Earth Day! NOAH continues to work towards a green, resilient and sustainable community, region and earth.  In celebration of Earth Day, some of us will be taking the Earth Day Network's Footprint Calculator questionnaire:  We're also checking out NASA's 'Global Selfie', with over 36k individual selfies posted a year ago today.

Next Free Financial Capability Course in Spanish & English Starts on Tuesday, March 31st, from 6:30 to 9:30 PM

The next FREE Financial Capability course will be held at NOAH over three nights, on Tuesday, March 31, Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 2. Our comprehensive bilingual (Spanish and English) financial capability programming teaches students to set realistic financial goals, maximize their income, save money, amass assets, make intentional spending decisions, borrow appropriately and adequately protect assets and wealth. Upon completion of our financial capability seminar, students are invited to participate in our no-cost financial coaching programming, which helps ensure that after our students learn these skills, they have the necessary support and resources to put them into action. These free financial capability services are provided by a certified financial counselor, a consumer banking officer, and a licensed financial adviser. Participants in the course will gain skills and knowledge that will help them improve their credit scores, increase net worth, and increase/maximize net monthly income. We invite you to register today. To register, please contact Carrie Tennant, Esq. at 617-418-8264 or Everyone is welcome!

NOAH's 27th Annual Dinner at Spinelli's
Thursday, December 18

A good time was had by all, including our very youngest guests! The keynote speaker was Brian Swett, the City of Boston's Chief of Energy and Environment. Brian helped us focus on the challenge of Climate Change and its effects on the City, particularly East Boston, which is so vulnerable to continuing sea-level rise. Climate Change is an issue which affects all of us, no matter our income, gender, age, language, or country of origin. Every community needs to work on these challenging issues of climate change.
