NOAH is partnering with The Neighborhood Corporation (TNC), a non-profit in Taunton, to redevelop a former shoe mill at 151 Pierce Street in Middleborough, MA. A certificate of occupancy was issued in June 2016. The historic rehab has resulted in 25 units of affordable family housing with a mix of 4 one-bedroom units, 18 two-bedrooms and 3 three-bedroom units. NOAH was chosen by the Town of Webster through a competitive process to renovate the historic Sitkowski School building into 66 units of independent-living senior affordable housing, including housing the new 9,000 square foot Webster Senior/Community Center. The apartments are a mix of one and two bedrooms units. Construction started in February 2014 and was completed and fully occupied by the end of 2015.
NOAH was selected by the Carlisle Housing Authority to build an affordable 26-unit, independent living senior housing community. The project is located on 42 acres of land purchased by the Town for housing, recreation, and conservation land and trails. It was completed in February of 2014. Benfield Farms excels as a standard for green living - the building achieved both ENERGY STAR for New Homes (V3) and LEED for Homes GOLD certification. Completed in June of 2011, this affordable project created 30 new rental homes for families. The State funded this development using TCAP monies.
